Toronto Raptors 2025 NBA Championship Betting Odds, Eastern Conference, Atlantic Division
Team | NBA Title Odds | Eastern Conference Odds | Atlantic Division Odds |
---|---|---|---|
Toronto Raptors | +100000 | +30000 | +50000 |
Odds as of August 28
Toronto only made the playoffs once between 2014 and 2022, but has failed to clinch a spot in three of the last four years. Players like Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby and Fred VanVleet have left via free agency and trades, leaving Raptors president Masai Ujiri to retool the roster around a new trio of Scottie Barnes, Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett.
Rather than making immediate trades like the Kawhi Leonard deal in 2019, the Raptors are looking to the future with a group of young players, most of them 25 or younger. This season is the first step toward becoming a playoff contender in the Eastern Conference again, while also analyzing whether or not that core has any upside.
Best choice: None
There’s no point betting on the Raptors to win any of the upcoming games mentioned above, because they’re simply not good enough as designed. The Atlantic Division features three behemoths: the Knicks, the defending champion Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers, and Toronto finished 11 games out of the play-in tournament last season, completely relegated to second place in the East.
Toronto Raptors 2024-25 NBA Win Totals, Playoff Odds
Team | Total wins in 2024-25 | ON | BELOW | Odds to make the playoffs |
---|---|---|---|---|
Toronto Raptors | 30.5 | +100 | -122 | +470 |
Odds as of August 28
Toronto’s .035 winning percentage in 2023-24 was the franchise’s worst since 2010-11, when the team went 22-60 at .268. It was also the fifth-worst percentage since the franchise’s inception in 1995.
Best Bet: UNDER 30.5 Wins, -122
After the All-Star break, the Raptors have won just six of their last 27 games, the fifth-worst record in the conference over that span. Barnes has been out of the last 22 games, though, while Quickley has been out nine times.
Still, with next year’s draft being one of the richest in recent history, there’s a good chance Toronto will decide to win at some point and try to put itself in prime position to land a high lottery pick. Hovering around the .500 mark, which is likely the ceiling for the standings, isn’t doing the Raptors any good in the long run.

Best Bet: Immanuel Quickley for NBA Most Improved Player, +2500
It’s the opportunity Quickley has long wanted, leading a team as a starting point guard and taking the bull by the horns to increase his own value and that of his new team. A five-year, $175 million contract proves Toronto has more than enough faith in him to get the job done, but now it’s up to the 25-year-old to live up to that deal and prove his employer right.
Quickley averaged 18.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.8 assists while shooting under 40 percent from three-point range in his first 38 games with the Raptors. His overall shooting percentage needs to improve, but Quickley’s early results show he can be a fringe All-Star and one day be considered one of the best at his position.
Voters tend to favor a dramatic increase in statistical production, and Quickley can do that by playing more minutes and having more responsibility. In his first full season north of the border, he’ll have both.
