The March Madness men’s field is set, and for diehard Miami Heat fans who haven’t devoted much time to college hoops this season, this is a chance to take a look at some of the top prospects in the sports ahead of the NBA draft in June.

On the heels of Jaime Jaquez Jr.’s successful pick last summer, the Heat could look to double down with another impact rookie.

Let’s go over some of the key names you should keep an eye on as you click through to the NCAA Tournament.

One of the draft lifters was Yves Missi, the 7-foot shot blocker from Baylor who has been compared to Jalen Duren because of his chiseled frame and supreme athleticism.

Although Missi was used in a more traditional role at Baylor, there is reason to believe he could expand his game outside, which would be an ideal skill set if he were to play alongside Bam Adebayo.

Here’s what Yahoo NBA Draft analyst Krysten Peek wrote:

“Missi is one of the best players in college basketball. He has a ton of untapped potential and has continued to improve his game throughout his freshman year. Baylor hasn’t used him in pick-and-ball situations. and-pop with how many people.” He’s one perimeter shooter he has at his disposal this season, but he’s shown comfort with his 3-point shot in practice and in pregame warmups. Missi has great footwork around the rim, can catch the ball in traffic and finish on both sides of the basket. “

Missi, 19, is an impact defensive player but a raw offensive player. But that didn’t stop the Heat from signing Bam Adebayo, who had similar concerns coming out of Kentucky in 2017.
