After an excellent weekend of results on the Western Conference scoreboard, Monday brought another positive to New Orleans (36-25), while Sacramento (34-26) was upset by Chicago. That put the Kings back 1.5 games behind the Pelicans, instead of bringing them within a half game. New Orleans is in sole possession of fifth place and a full game ahead of sixth-place Phoenix (35-26), which visits defending NBA champion Denver tonight in a late game on TNT.
Before this Tuesday evening, New Orleans will travel to Toronto at 6:30 p.m. at Scotiabank Arena. Pre-match coverage on Bally Sports and 99.5 FM begins at 6 p.m.
