THE LA Clippers 2024-25 Schedule is officially out. Kawhi Leonard, James Harden and company are heading into a new era with the Paul George leaves for the Philadelphia 76ers in free agency.
In addition to releasing the schedule, the Clippers opened their All-new Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Their new state-of-the-art home will be a haven for basketball fans around the world and will house both the team’s practice facility and the stadium where they will play their games.
As teams prepare for the seven-to-nine-month NBA season, we take a look at the Clippers’ six must-watch games of the 2024-25 season. We start with the Intuit Dome opener.

Suns @ Clippers — Regular Season Opener at Intuit Dome
The long wait is over. The LA Clippers will open the doors of the Intuit Dome for the first regular-season basketball game on October 23, 2024.
Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns are heading to town for each team’s regular-season opener. The Olympic gold medalists will face the guy they thought was their teammate in Paris, Kawhi Leonard, before some puzzling decisions were made.
In addition to this opening game, the Suns will travel to Los Angeles to face the Clippers again eight days later, on October 31.
The tension between the Clippers and Suns has eased since their 2021 and 2023 playoff runs. With Patrick Beverley, Paul George and Russell Westbrook no longer on the roster, the Clippers, in their new configuration, will have their work cut out for them in their season opener.
Lakers @ Clippers — LA vs LA Game 1 at the Intuit Dome
For the first time since 1999, the Los Angeles Lakers will play an away game in their home city, in a different arena. The Clippers and the Intuit Dome will host the Lakers on January 19, 2025 for the first time.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis, another pair of Olympic teammates, will lead the Lakers into the Dome to face Kawhi Leonard, James Harden and the LA Clippers twice this season: Jan. 19 and again Feb. 4.
Mavs @ Clippers — 2024 Playoff Rematch
Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks are the Western Conference champions, but the Western Conference champions won’t travel to Los Angeles to face the Clippers until later this season.
The Clippers’ first meeting with the Mavs this season will be on April 4, just one week before the regular season ends. This game is part of a series of back-to-back games against the Mavs on April 4 and 5, both in Los Angeles.
It remains to be seen who will be healthy for this matchup, but the Mavs are an intriguing matchup after adding Klay Thompson last offseason in a heartbreaking departure from the Golden State Warriors.
The back-to-back set on April 4 and 5 will take place on a Friday and a Saturday.
Sixers @ Clippers — Paul George Returns to Los Angeles
Paul George’s long-awaited return to Los Angeles… won’t be long in coming. Assuming both teams are healthy, fans will only have to wait two weeks to witness this epic rematch.
After leaving in free agency last summer, George and his Philadelphia 76ers will travel to Los Angeles to face the Clippers on November 6, 2024. In what was initially expected to be a respectful and appreciative response from fans, Clippers fans will now likely boo George for speaking ill of the team and its fans as he leaves town.
George, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey have formed a solid trio of stars in Philadelphia, but their biggest weaknesses remain: consistency and health.
The match will take place on Wednesday, November 6, just one day after Election Day 2024.
Nuggets @ Clippers – Russell Westbrook Returns to Los Angeles

Russell Westbrook didn’t play long with the LA Clippers, but he made an immediate impact on that fan base. His energy made him a fan favorite, with plenty of opportunities to wake the team up and get them back in the game. On the other hand, his erratic and reckless style of play often cost the Clippers dearly in big moments.
Westbrook and the Nuggets will travel to Los Angeles to face the Clippers just once this season, on Dec. 1, 2024. Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and the new-look Nuggets have a lot to sort out with the departure of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
The Clippers have won two straight against the Nuggets after losing eight straight games to Denver dating back to 2022. Ivica Zubac and his club have defended Jokic well in recent years, so it will be interesting to see if that success can be replicated with Paul George gone.
Westbrook’s immediate impact and the standing ovation he received every game will be remembered by fans. He should receive a nice ovation from the fans when he returns to Los Angeles.
The Nuggets-Clippers contest on Sunday, December 1st will begin at 7 p.m. PT.
Spurs vs. Clippers — Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul
Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul will team up with the San Antonio Spurs in what will be a very interesting duo. Wembanyama is on track to become one of the greatest, if not the greatest, players in history. Adding a point guard of Chris Paul’s caliber will surely help his development.
Wemby, Paul and the Spurs will also travel to Los Angeles early and face the Clippers on November 4, 2024. For the Clippers, it will be a great opportunity to see Paul and Wembanyama early in their partnership, where they haven’t quite figured it out.
It will also be another matchup between future Hall of Famer Kawhi Leonard and Hall of Fame coach Gregg Popovich. The game on Monday, November 4 is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. PST.
