The Philadelphia 76ers will start the 2024-25 season with out two of their largest stars on the courtroom.
The Sixers introduced that Joel Embiid and Paul George won’t play in Wednesday’s season opener towards the Milwaukee Bucks.

George hyperextended his left knee final week when the Sixers performed the Atlanta Hawks in a preseason exhibition. He left the sport within the first half and didn’t return. The group later introduced that George suffered a bone bruise and prevented any structural harm. Nonetheless, nobody knew if George, the group’s main signing this offseason, can be prepared for opening evening.
We now know that George won’t make his Sixers debut on Wednesday. The group stated George shall be re-evaluated later this week.
Embiid remains to be recovering from a torn meniscus in his left knee in January 2024.
