Philadelphia recalled Jones of the G League’s Delaware Blue Coats on Saturday.
Jones receives an expedited call-up to Philadelphia after posting 21 points on 64.3 percent shooting in two G League appearances. The 2021 draft lottery pick is unlikely to fill a relevant role, but he brings a level of rebounding and rim running that Mo Bamba and Paul Reed can’t replicate at his size.
