The NBA community is ruthless towards star players. The Philadelphia 76ers Star Paul George is far from an exception.

George was the most criticized player of his career during his NBA playoff struggles with the Los Angeles Clippers. And that doesn’t stop after he signed with the Sixers, as Philadelphia has one of the toughest fan bases in the country.

While he has yet to step foot on the court in a 76ers jersey, fans are already clamoring for his moment on the international stage. George was joined by fellow stars Jimmy Butler (Miami Heat) and James Harden (Clippers) for a Yao Ming-hosted charity game on Tuesday, where a negative moment went viral.

The Sixers forward tried to isolate a defender in turn, hoping for an easy basket. Instead, the defender blocked George, leading to a fumble and a turnover.

“It’s already over for Philly. Paul George in China gets attacked by guys who just got off work.” a user posted.

The reactions on social media are seriously excessive.

“No, but why was he getting tied up?” a user wrote“He underestimated the Chinese champions.”

The Big Three of Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and George pose as big a threat as any to the defending champion Boston Celtics. The New York Knicks have also made big improvements.but having the best player on the field still gives Philadelphia an advantage.

“Philly really gave this guy $53 million a year,” Someone joked.

George accepts all the hatred that awaits him.

“Be as critical and as harsh as you can,” George said, according to Ben Istvan“I think it’s going to work out for me and the team. … I’m not afraid of that, or shying away from that at any point, at any stage. That’s what I’m looking forward to.”

George probably doesn’t pay attention to this kind of trolling as a seasoned 34-year-old veteran.
