THE NBA Odds favor the Clippers by 10 points at home and Los Angeles’ all-star cast should have a big night. But it’s the unsung hero of his starting lineup who could prove to have one of the biggest impacts against the Embiid-less 76ers.

Without Joel Embiid, the Philadelphia 76ers have slowly seen their position in the Eastern Conference playoff race slip. Sitting as the No. 8 seed after losing 15 of their last 24 games, the 76ers are a shell of themselves without the reigning MVP.
Not only does Embiid lead the NBA in scoring (35.3) and PER (34.68), but he is sixth in rebounding. Without her scoring prowess, coach Nick Nurse relied more on the All-Star guard. This opens the door for Zubac to clean the glass and finish with at least 10 rebounds. The 27-year-old leads the Clippers in rebounds per game with 9.1 and is 25th in the league in contested rebound percentage among players who have played in at least 40 games this season.
Zubac should be able to take advantage of a Philadelphia team that is allowing 14.13 rebounds per game to centers this year.
