The Phoenix Suns finally put Bradley Beal back on the court.
THE Phoenix Suns We’re getting some very good news ahead of a key match on Saturday against Houston Rockets. Guard of the suns Bradley Beal was done available to play after initially being listed as probable.
Beal was disturbed for several weeks with a hamstring injury. He has been out of the Phoenix lineup since he was injured in a Feb. 13 game against Sacramento. The Suns wanted to lean on Beal on offense this season, and the veteran delivered on his promises when healthy. On the campaign trail, Beal is averaging 18 points per game while shooting about 50 percent from the field. Beal improved last week and he finally looks ready to return to action.
The Suns did the best they could without Beal. Phoenix enters Saturday’s contest with a 35-24 overall record. The team is fifth in the Western Conference and has won seven of its last 10 games. Veteran forward Kevin Durant had a breakout season, passing Carmelo Anthony and Moses Malone in NBA all-time scoring list while guiding Phoenix.
This is Bradley Beal’s first season in Phoenix, after playing several years with the Washington Wizards. The Suns will surely give their guard some minutes if he’s ready to go. The Suns have other key players injured and could use the veteran’s minutes. Eric Gordon is questionable with a groin soreness, and Nassir Little is questionable with a knee injury for the Suns.
The Suns and Rockets will be notified on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Eastern. The Rockets are 25-34 this season.
