THE Boston Celtics had not lost three games in a row during the entire 2023-24 NBA season before playing the Phoenix Suns on the road last Saturday evening. And by the time the final buzzer sounded on a ballclub that had dropped its last two games, that possibility was off the menu.

The Celtics earned a 117-107 victory thanks to their two All-Star wings Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. But they had plenty of help up and down the roster on a night that saw them without the services of Celtics star center Kristaps Porzingis. There were some surges from the Suns in the second half, but Boston held them off and got back into the win column.

NBC Sports Boston’s Brian Scalabrine, Chris Forsberg and Amina Smith talked about what went well for Boston on “Celtics Postgame Live,” and Abby Chin also had a one-on-one interview with the big man reserves Luke Kornet.
