Before Otto Porter Jr.which was renounced by the Utah Jazz Monday, announced his retirement from the NBA after 11 seasons.

“Over the past 11 years, I have been fortunate to live my life’s dream of playing in the NBA,” said Porter, who won a title in 2022 with the Warriors of the Golden State. “That dream came true by winning an NBA championship! Unfortunately, my body does not allow me to play at the level I expect of myself, and so I have decided to retire.”

Porter, 30, never played for the Jazz after averaging 2.6 points with 1.9 rebounds in 15 games for the Jazz. Toronto Raptors this season. He was included in the February 8 exchange, along with Kira Lewis Jr.. and a first-round pick, which sent Kelly Olynyk And Ochai Agbaji to the Raptors.
