THE Utah Jazz are back in action Saturday night as they take on the Houston Rockets in the middle of their three-game road trip. With around fifteen games remaining this season, this young team hopes to end the season on a good note, but they may have to do so without a few key names in the squad.

Both teams released their injury reports ahead of Sunday’s game, with each team having a few productive guys set to stay on the sideline:

Utah Jazz:

Lauri Markkanen – OUT (injury talk)

Jordan Clarkson – OUT (groin)

John Collins – QUESTIONABLE (face)

Omer Yurtseven – QUESTIONABLE (ankle)

Houston Rockets:

Alperen Sengun – OUT (ankle)

Cam Whitmore – OUT (knee)

Tari Eason – OUT (leg)

Steven Adams – OUT (knee)

Consistent with their recent trend, the Jazz will be without some key contributors in Saturday’s rotation. For starters, Lauri Markkanen will be out as the team continues to focus on dealing with his recent quadriceps injury. Alongside him will be Jordan Clarkson, who is dealing with a nagging groin injury that has kept him out of action for some time. John Collins and Omer Yurtseven remain questionable, as their status will likely become clearer as tipoff approaches.

As for the Rockets, they will be without their star center, Alperen Sengun, who remains out due to the ankle injury he suffered a few weeks ago. However, other young players like Cam Whitmore and Tari Eason will continue to be inactive. If anything, it puts more responsibility on the shoulders of guys like Jalen Green and Amen Thompson to help Houston win this game.

Tip-off for this match will take place at 6:00 p.m. MT at the Toyota Center.
