Green Jalenthe girlfriend of Draya Michele took to social media and called herself “Samba Mama.” She shared photos of herself wearing the Adidas Samba Classic sneakers at the party on Saturday. Houston Rockets match against the Utah Jazz on Instagram.
On the brand’s official website, the sneakers are priced at $90. “Samba Mama,” Michele wrote in her post.
During the game, Green scored 41 points to guide the Rockets to victory over the Jazz 147-119. On Saturday, he also increased his totals with four rebounds, four assists and a steal.
The Rockets guard explained that his “baby” and his “family” were the reasons for his recent stellar performances. Green mentioned the woman and her unborn child, although he did not mention Michele’s name. The couple appears to be enjoying their journey together as Green’s career soars and their excitement for the arrival of their child grows.
The Rockets are currently riding an eight-game winning streak and are getting closer to qualifying for the play-in tournament this season, thanks in large part to Jalen Green’s stellar play in recent games.
After tying his career-high 42 points against the Wizards on Wednesday, Green spoke to reporters about the Rockets’ quest for a playoff spot:
“It was a good feeling,” Green said, “it shows the work is working, but that’s not important. We’re chasing a goal going into the playoffs and the Play-In tournament. I’m going to keep lowering the head and keep going it’s working,” Green was quoted as saying by Sportskeeda.
