How to watch
What there is to know
The Mavericks and Kings have been tied 5-5 since May 2021, but not for long. After playing yesterday, the Dallas Mavericks will hit the road to face the Sacramento Kings at 10 p.m. ET on March 26 at Golden 1 Center. Both teams enter the confrontation strengthened by their victories in their previous matches.
The Mavericks entered their Monday game with three straight wins, but they came away with four. They came away with a 115-105 victory over Utah.
The Mavericks’ success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Luka Doncic led the charge by notching a triple-double with 29 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists. Daniel Gafford was another key contributor, posting a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Even though the Kings haven’t done well against the 76ers recently (they were 0-10 in their previous ten meetings), they didn’t let the past get in their way Monday. Sacramento won against the 76ers by a score of 108-96. The win made it two straight wins for the Kings.
The Kings got their win thanks to several key players, but it was De’Aaron Fox up front who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Less helpful for the Kings was Malik Monk’s dreadful 0-5 three-point shooting.
Dallas has performed incredibly well recently as they have won eight of their last nine games, significantly improving their record to 42-29 this season. As for Sacramento, their victory improved their record to an identical score of 42-29.
Fans are expected to witness an exciting matchup on Tuesday as both teams are currently among the most successful teams in the league. The Mavericks have had no problem running up the score this season, averaging 118.6 points per game. However, it’s not like the Kings struggled in that department as they averaged 117.6 points per game. With both teams so easily able to rack up points, the only question that remains is who can run up the score.
The Mavericks hope to defy the odds on Tuesday as experts believe they are headed for a loss. Anyone considering them against the spread should keep this in mind: The team hasn’t covered the last four times they’ve played in Sacramento.
