PHOENIX — The Phoenix Suns took aim at the other 29 NBA teams with their schedule release tweet, which used memes for each fan base the Suns will encounter during the 2024-25 season.

It’s become common for teams in major sports leagues to do fun and quirky things for their schedule releases, and while nearly every team in the league has done their own version, the Miami Heat actually hit back at the Suns.

For Miami, Phoenix’s social media team addressed the narrative that Heat fans typically leave the arena empty for games.

Miami’s administration wasted no time, taking screenshots of the league’s attendance figures from last season and highlighting Phoenix’s 24th-place finish:

The Suns also released another video where they tested their opponents’ performance against the Sun in Phoenix, which was also very entertaining.

The Suns will open their regular season on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers on Oct. 23 and play their home opener against the Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 26.

Phoenix could surely get some social media teasing from their NBA peers once they lose a game or two.
