Throughout his career, Zion Williamson has faced a lot of criticism due to his weight. However, a recent picture of a svelte Zion has sparked reactions on social media worldwide. The 23-year-old power forward, who has kept details of his personal life away from social media, has shocked the community with his transformation.
The former Duke Blue Devil recently hosted Zion Williamson’s basketball camp in his hometown of Spartanburg. Photos from that particular camp have now flooded the internet. In one particular image of the New Orleans Pelicans star, it looked like Williamson had lost a lot of weight.
It showed that he was in the best shape of his life and was ready to terrorize the league in the upcoming 2024-25 season. The majority of fans seemed impressed by the transformation of the 2.08m forward.
The same group showed their confidence in the high-flying player, sending a stern warning to the different teams in the league.

At the same time, some skeptics have claimed that the photo was doctored or that the 24-year-old was using drugs to achieve it.

Users also shared other photos from camp in which the two-time All-Star didn’t appear in top shape. As a result, critics were also quick to claim that the camera angle played a big role in Williamson’s thinness.
A photo of Williamson in great shape circulates on social media every year. At some point each offseason, such photos make the rounds on the internet. Unfortunately, there wasn’t as significant a difference in his physical stature when fans got to see him on the field during the preseason.
Having been listed as 284 pounds his entire professional career, it will be interesting to see how that transformation will prompt the Pels to list him for the 2024-24 campaign.
