In what seemed like a hilarious attempt to put her in a difficult position, La La was asked who she would support between the Knicks and her son Kiyan, who is the number 1 ranked high school player in New York.
The mother chose her son without surprise. When asked if she would support the Knicks, a team she has always supported and where her ex-husband Melo made history, if her son was selected elsewhere, she did not hesitate to make her choice known. “Not so hard! I’m sorry, I go where my child goes! Wherever my child is, I root for him.” The La revealed according to page six.
Anthony’s son has yet to begin his college basketball career, but fans have already started creating a story around Melo’s son, hoping that he will have the chance to build a legacy similar to his father’s. However, there is also a chance that Kiyan will be selected to another team.

Just a few days ago, the 17-year-old was also spotted working out alongside celebrity basketball coach Chris Brickley. Sharing a clip of the session on her Instagram Stories, La La wrote: “Always give back. It’s the only way! @kiyananthony @humbledevelopmentyouth.”
Additionally, Kiyan was seen enjoys a trip to Japan with his mother before heading to Paris to join Carmelo Anthony for the Olympics. As for Melo’s legacy, the NBA legend has taken his son to many The New York Knicks games, making sure his son is aware of his impact on the Big Apple.
