Nikola Jokić has dominated the basketball world in recent years, winning three of the last four NBA MVP awards.
While most are impressed with his abilities, former NBA player Sam Cassell believes one player could be the antidote to the Serbian pivot.
“Hakeem is a beast in every sense of the word on the court. He’s in the top 10 in every NBA category: steals, rebounds, points. I think Jokić would score more points, but Hakeem would win because he would constantly pressure him. Jokić wouldn’t be able to do any damage in the post; it just wouldn’t happen.,” Cassell said, comparing Jokić to Hakeem Olajuwon, speaking to Draymond Green on his podcast.

“On the other end of the court, Jokić wouldn’t stand a chance. Joel Embiid is a problem for him and he wouldn’t have any hope against Hakeem. I think Hakeem would have an answer for anything Jokić could try on defense.“, Cassell added.
