The big man of the Minnesota Timberwolves Karl-Anthony Towns had a roller coaster ride in the Twin Cities.

Coming out of Kentucky, he was considered one of the team’s top prospects. Eventually selected first overall in the 2015 NBA draft, he took off. After winning Rookie of the Year honors, he averaged career-highs of 25.1 points and 12.3 rebounds per game in his sophomore season. The next two seasons, he was selected to the All-Star Game for the first time.

At that time, he was also considered the face of the franchise. Simply put, he was considered the best and most popular player on the roster.

Today, Towns is it’s not the face anymore of the Timberwolves. This coat was passed down to Anthony Edwardsthat Minnesota selected first overall in the 2020 draft.
