Nassir Little is returning from a season in which he played 45 games (including two starts) for the Phoenix Suns.

He finished the year averaging 3.4 points and 1.7 rebounds per game while shooting 46.0 percent from the field and 30.0 percent from three-point range.

On Wednesday evening, Shams Charania of Athletic and Stadium It has been reported that Little (and EJ Liddell) will be released by the Suns.

Via Charania: “The Phoenix Suns will part ways with forwards Nassir Little and EJ Liddell, sources say. By releasing both, the Suns free up a roster spot and create flexibility for sign-and-trades during the offseason. The Suns will extend Little’s three-year, $22 million contract remaining.”
