The New York Knicks had a difficult end to their playoff run, with several players dealing with injuries throughout the season.

However, the Knicks should be healthy for the upcoming season, which will give them a huge boost for the 2024-25 campaign.

“The bottom line is that the Knicks are using too many good players. It’s horrible! And that’s another reason why the perceived hole at backup center may not be as big as it first appears. Bring in a center who deserves 20 minutes behind Robinson, and Hart or DiVincenzo could be the collateral damage.” Fred Katz, an insider at The Athletic, writes:“Injuries, foul trouble and general NBA season events are going to give these guys more playing time as the year goes on. But what’s clear from this exercise is that the Knicks have a much different vibe than they did during their shorthanded playoff run last spring. Players are going to have to make sacrifices.”

There’s no guarantee the Knicks won’t be hit by injuries this upcoming season, but they’ll be a little better prepared in the event that they do.

Despite all the injuries the Knicks suffered last season, they were still able to get within one win of a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals. With the addition of Mikal Bridges and Cam Payne, the Knicks have additional reinforcements in case things go south.

Bridges has yet to miss a game since being drafted into the league in 2018, so they’re getting the epitome of health on their team.

If injuries strike again, the Knicks could be cursed, but in the event things go in the right direction, they will have a healthy and deep group to lead things all the way to the playoffs.
