In honor of his late brother, he will wear the number 32.

Drew Gordon wore number 32 while playing for the New Mexico Lobos in college.
Drew was killed in a car accident in Oregon in late May. He was 33. After college, he played for a number of professional basketball teams overseas, including Partizan Belgrade, Dinamo Sassari and BC Zenit Saint Petersburg. He also played briefly in the NBA.
Aaron Gordon previously wore number 50 with the Nuggets.
A few weeks after his brother’s death, Aaron Gordon shared photos on social media of a new tattoo on his chest. with his brother’s initials on it.
