Brown spent one season with the Lakers in 2022/23 and has time with the The Timberwolves last year. Golden State has two non-guaranteed partial contracts available.

The 25-year-old guard played six seasons in the NBA, most recently with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Detroit Pistons. Brown Jr. was originally selected by the Washington Wizards in the first round of the 2018 NBA draft out of Oregon. In addition to the Timberwolves, Pistons and Wizards, Brown also played for the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers.
Last season with the Timberwolves and Pistons, Brown Jr. averaged 4.2 points on 37.2 percent shooting and 33.3 percent from three-point range with 2.4 rebounds and one assist in 59 games.
