BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Oumar Ballo had 18 factors, Malik Reneau and Bryson Tucker each scored 16 and Indiana earned an 82-67 victory over Minnesota within the Hoosiers’ Massive Ten Convention opener Monday night time.
Ballo made all 5 of his pictures from the ground, including seven rebounds for the Hoosiers (8-2). He made 8 of 11 from the free throw line after capturing 54.2 % (26 for 48). Reneau made 7 of 10 pictures and grabbed seven rebounds. Tucker had six rebounds and made 6 of 10 pictures from the bench.

Reserve Kanaan Carlyle made three of Indiana’s 4 3-pointers and totaled 14 factors with 5 assists. Mackenzie Mgbako scored 13.
Dawson Garcia led the Golden Gophers (6-5, 0-2) with 22 factors on 9-of-15 capturing. Mike Mitchell Jr. and Lu’Cye Patterson each scored 10.
Ballo and Tucker each had 11 factors and Reneau scored 10 to guide Indiana to a 44-31 halftime benefit. Tucker made back-to-back baskets to present Indiana a 24-22 lead with 9:52 left and the Hoosiers by no means trailed once more.
