NBA fined Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards $50,000 Monday for “making obscene gestures towards a sport official.”

That is the fifth time this season that Edwards has been fined a complete of $285,000.

This newest incident occurred Saturday throughout Minnesota’s second quarter. 127-125 defeat to the go to Memphis Grizzlies.

Edwards already price himself $35,000 when he made an obscene gesture on the sphere throughout Minnesota’s street victory. Sacramento on November 15.

The 2-time 2023-24 All-Star and All-NBA choice was then fined thrice in December.

He misplaced $25,000 for utilizing foul language throughout a postgame interview after the Timberwolves’ win at Golden State; $75,000 two weeks later when he used profanity whereas criticizing the referee throughout a house loss to the Warriors; and $100,000 for extra profanity in Dec. 27 interview after Minnesota win Houston.

Edwards, 23, is averaging 25.4 factors, 5.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists per sport this season.
