Denver-based ALLCITY Network today launched its local digital sports coverage service, DLLS, in Dallas. Led locally by NBA insider Marc Stein, the service will feature daily broadcasts five times a week covering the Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars and Rangers.

Shows will air Monday through Friday on the DLLS YouTube page and podcast platforms like Apple and Spotify.
ALLCITY says it is “reinventing” local sports coverage by offering daily, team-specific broadcasts via streaming video, podcasts and other digital platforms. Dallas is the company’s fifth market following its 2019 launch in Denver and subsequent launches in Phoenix, Chicago and Philadelphia.
“Dallas has been our highest-rated market by every metric since we began accumulating market data in 2019.” ALLCITY CEO Brandon Spano said in a statement.“The level of talent here is unmatched and there may not be a group of fans with a greater appetite for sports coverage,” he explained. “We now enter Dallas with more momentum than ever and after bringing such a special group to the DFW area, we are confident that this market will set a new standard for local sports coverage in America.”
The local DLLS team
Stein, a longtime ESPN anchor and New York Times reporter, will lead a DLLS team comprised of talent from Mavs.com, The Athletic, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The Dallas Starsand local sports radio stations, ALLCITY said.
According to sports media website Awful Announcing, DLLS hung up Tim Cato, a reporter for The Athletic and a Dallas Mavericks expert, has tapped Bobby Karalla of Mavs.com. He’ll also get more Mavs coverage from Dallas sports radio host Kevin Gray and Cowboys coverage from Jeff Cavanaugh (both formerly of 105.3 The Fan and 97.1 The Freak).
Also covering other local and Texas teams
ALLCITY said DLLS will also include weekly coverage of other DFW teams, including the Dallas Wings and TCU Horned Frogs, and added that Texas Longhorns coverage coming soon.
Like ALLCITY’s other local television stations, DLLS aims to fill the void left by the decline of traditional radio, the RSN model and other media outlets in terms of local sports content. It plans to do this in Dallas by providing tailored content to sports fans through a mix of news, entertainment, community-focused programming and “on-the-ground events,” all hosted by a team of local experts.
DLLS is launched with the support of sponsors Sleeper, Gametime Tickets, Shady Rays and Empire Today, ALLCITY said.
Recently Raised $12 Million in Series B
Last week, ALLCITY announced that it has raised a Series B funding round led by broadcast media company TEGNA (NYSE: TGNA). According to multiple reports, the Series B raised $12 million, nearly half of the $25 million ALLCITY reports it has raised to date.
