New Orleans (AP)-Jose Alvarado performed a three-point recreation on an inverted lay-up with 31 seconds to do and the Pelicans of New Orleans survived the Charlotte Hornets 98-94 Sunday night.

With New Orleans down 94-93 after the three pointer of Nick Smith Jr., Alvarado marked on the reader and attracted a fault on Daquan Jeffries to arrange the sport at three factors. Jeffries then threw the ball, and Keion Brooks Jr. frozen it with a lay-up.

Brooks led New Orleans with 17 factors. Antonio Reeves added 16 years, Kelly Olynyk had 13 and Alvarado and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl every had 12.

Miles Bridges led Charlotte with 20 factors, and Smith had 19. Jusuf Nurkic had 13 factors and 12 rebounds. The Hornets misplaced 5 video games in a row.
