March has been a strong month so far for Chicago Bulls. As they attempt to make the Eastern Conference playoffs, their play is picking up at just the right time. Unfortunately, they capped an otherwise successful road trip with a loss on Saturday, falling 112-102 to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Before the game, the Bulls had won three in a row with a chance to go 4-0 on their Western Conference road trip. They dismantled the Kings of Sacramento, Utah Jazzand the Golden State Warriors in three consecutive games, but they could not complete their journey undefeated.

After the loss to Los Angeles, Ayo Dosunmu spoke about the Bulls’ disappointment with the defeat. (H/t Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune)

“It’s disappointing because we had the opportunity to go 4-0,” Dosunmu said. “Our confidence is high because we’re not leaving here like it’s a moral victory. We understand that we can’t get it back, but we understand that we were just good enough to be there to win this game.

Chicago is in a good position, but they would have loved to beat the Clippers.
