Basketball Corridor of Famer Isiah Thomas revealed this week on the “Come And Speak 2 Me” podcast that he suffers from Bell’s palsy.
“I’ve gotten numerous love from individuals saying, ‘Properly, Isiah’s sick. What’s he going via?’ Thomas stated on the present hosted by former NBA level guard and ESPN broadcaster Marc Jackson and his son. “I haven’t actually advised anybody, however I’ve Bell’s palsy. …That is why you see me like that. Thomas’ revelation comes months after the Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid was identified with Bell’s palsy through the staff’s playoff run final spring.
Thomas performed for the Detroit Pistons from 1981 to 1994, then coached the Indiana Pacers, New York Knicks and Florida Worldwide College. He received two NBA titles, was a 12-time All-Star and a member of three All-NBA First Groups. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Corridor of Fame in 2000.
