When Boston Celtics All-Star Forward Jayson Tatum ends a bad shooting streak, he doesn’t spare his efforts. And he didn’t do it in his 51-point thrashing of the The Wizards of Washington, powering the Celtics’ 116-87 victory over the Wiz at Capital One Arena that fateful day.
The St. Louis native scored the third-most points of his career, shooting 18 of 28 from the field, shooting 9 of 14 from three-point range and 6 of 6 from the free throw line. Tatum had 10 rebounds and seven assists to round out his stats. He had a turnover late in the game.
