NBA 2K is one of the most popular sports video game franchises of all time, and every year, fans and players alike are eager to see the ratings. Just a few days ago, the player ratings for NBA 2K25 were revealed, and the Brooklyn Nets received the lowest team rating in the league at 79, the only team below 80.
This makes sense, given that Brooklyn just started its rebuild after trading Mikal Bridges. Similar to their 2K standings, the Nets have the lowest win total at 19.5 as the 2024-25 NBA season approaches.
Nicolas Claxton and Cam Thomas have the highest grades on the team, each with an overall grade of 83. Dennis Schroder and Cameron Johnson follow with a grade of 79 each. Ben Simmons, the Nets’ highest-paid player in 2025, has an overall grade of 77.
Aside from Thomas, expectations for the young core are low. Noah Clowney is at 75, while NBA Summer League MVP Jalen Wilson is at just 72. Dariq Whitehead, who had a particularly poor Summer League, comes in at 71.
Thomas entered last season with a 76 overall rating, meaning he jumped seven overall ratings in one season, the most of any player on the roster. The 22-year-old will look to have another season of improvement, with more touches and becoming the franchise point guard Brooklyn needs.
The biggest drop came from Bojan Bogdanovic, who went from an 82 overall rating last season to 78. Bogdanovic has the team’s best three-point rating at 83, and will be another veteran to help the young core navigate the NBA.
