Brooklyn is playing the second game of a back-to-back set here and they’re floundering as is, having already fired Jacque Vaughn earlier this season. It’s like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic for the Nets, as injuries and poor play have plagued the team all season long. Cleveland, despite missing several key players, beat the Celtics and Timberwolves, the two teams atop their respective conferences, this week. The Cavaliers are at home, with an advantage at rest, and face a Nets team that has fallen apart. Give Cleveland the edge in this contest as they pull out the win.
Prediction: Cleveland Cavaliers -7.5

Brooklyn entered Saturday’s action having seen the Under post a mark of 33-29-1 in their 63 games this season. The Nets are below the league average in terms of pace as they are 24th in the league averaging 97.5 possessions per night. The Nets are 8th in turnovers as they are committing an average of 12.7 turnovers per game this season. Cleveland had gone under that number in 35 of its first 63 games, with just one spurt, this season starting Monday night. The Cavaliers are 18th in the league in committing 13.4 turnovers per game on the season while they are 22nd in pace with an average of 97.6 possessions per night. With the Cavaliers missing their top scorer and potentially other pieces, along with a tired Nets team struggling to score, and this game will likely end under the total.
Prediction: Under 209
