Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is one of the best players in the game, regardless of position. The big man is one of those rare players his size who can score from all three levels and do it effectively while facing waves of double teams and different defenders.

Embiid is also an elite defender. His presence on the court elevates the play of the other players around him while he has also been able to make great strides as a playmaker and get others involved at this point in his career.

That being said, when it comes to the best big men in the league, everyone has different opinions. Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard went on the “Club 520” podcast and gave his top 5 favorite players in the league. He mentioned Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant, and Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic.

In terms of big men, Lillard teamed up with Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic and Bucks teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo.

There’s no real right or wrong answer when it comes to the big man debate. Embiid, Jokic and Antetokounmpo are the three best players in the league at the position and they’re all having dominant games. Lillard has his preferences, but that doesn’t make them a bad choice.
