CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Veteran forward Marcus Morris has reportedly signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
NBA Insider senior official for The Athletic Shams Charania said Morris would join the team on a 10-day contract. He reached a buyout agreement with the San Antonio Spurs last month.
The veteran spent most of the 2023-24 season with the Philadelphia 76ers, but was traded to San Antonio in a three-team deal involving the Spurs, Pacers and 76ers.
Morris appeared in 37 games for Philadelphia this season. He averages 6.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
The 13-year veteran has previously played for the Rockets, Suns, Pistons, Celtics, Knicks, Clippers and 76ers.
He was originally selected in the first round at 14th overall by the Houston Rockets in the 2011 NBA Draft.
