CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The Cavaliers needed a good game, so it was a good time to take on the Charlotte Hornets, a team that only has one eight road games all year.
Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen and Georges Niang all lead the Cavs with 17 points on a night where six players scored in double figures. Allen (17 points, 13 rebounds) and Darius Garland (15 points, 10 assists) each recorded a double-double. Mobley came close, adding eight assists and seven rebounds to his 17 points.
The Cavs took control of the game in the 2nd quarter, outscoring the Hornets 31-17 during the period. They never trailed in the second half, but scored 37 points in the fourth to finish strong.
Tuesday is an off day for the Cavaliers, they play at Charlotte on Wednesday night.
