CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The Cavaliers trailed by 15 points midway through the second quarter, but found a way to dig in and rally for a 108-103 Indiana victory.
A 15-1 run in the second quarter began the comeback. “Starting the game the way we started obviously wasn’t our best,” Cavaliers head coach JB Bickerstaff said. “It took us a second to catch up with them and their rhythm, but I thought as the game went on we did a phenomenal job.”
The Cavs outscored the Pacers 29-20 in the 2nd quarter and 36-29 in the 3rd quarter to take control of the game. Yet Indiana did not go quietly.
Tyrese Haliburton scored with 2:02 left at 103, but the Cavs responded with baskets from Caris LeVert and Isaac Okoro.
LeVert and Allen lead the Cavs with 23 points each.
