Fans of Boston Celtics might see a somewhat familiar face peddling a popular brand of beer made famous in the greater Boston area. Celtics starting general Derrick White was recently in a Sam Adams beer commercial, doing his best to experience the local culture of his new NBA home.
The Colorado native can be seen working on his accent and vocabulary to better pass himself off as a Ground hole, to paraphrase fellow Association transplant and Boston team president Brad Stevens. It also tries its hand at the long-standing tradition of Celtics fans trying to put their thumb on the scale on radio broadcasts to support their favorite player (we think).
