District E doubleheader will be televised on NBC Sports Boston and Monumental Sports Network

BOSTON, MA/WASHINGTON, DC – Celtics Gaming (CLTX), the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Boston Celtics and Wizards District Gaming, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Washington Wizards, today announced the second edition of the Corridor Cup. The Corridor Cup, named after the Northeast Corridor rail line that connects Boston to Washington, D.C., will feature a 5v5 series between the teams on Sunday, March 17 at 4 p.m. ET at District E Powered by Ticketmaster.

This competition will be available in person in District E and broadcast live on NBC Sports Boston and Monumental Sports Network with title sponsor McDonald’s DMV. Fans attending the game in person will have the opportunity to enjoy a DJ, giveaways and special food and drinks available at District Bites, the bar and restaurant located inside District E. After the Corridor Cup, the Boston Celtics will face the Washington Wizards. at Capital One Arena in DC for the Wizards’ NBA 2K theme party.

Two-time NBA 2K League champions Wizards District Gaming are the winningest organization in the NBA 2K League with more than $1.4 million in prize money won through the league’s first six seasons. District E is the home training facility and esports competition venue for Wizards District Gaming, and host to in-person games for the 2023 and 2024 NBA 2K League seasons. With the opening of District E, Wizards District Gaming directly engages with the local esports community and provides a platform for competitive gaming fans in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia to watch, play and connect with other players.
