It’s been a tumultuous season for Green, with altercations and suspensions.

When we talk about Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green, his antics, his recent altercations and his suspensions are generally discussed alongside him. Although he is a four-time NBA champion and an integral part of those teams, he is generally seen in a bad light, as are other people who can relate to him. Charles Barkley And Metta World Peace.

These two are also known for their antics on and off the basketball court, but since leaving the league, they have had time to reflect and see the error in their ways and I hope Green can do it the same. In an interview with Howard Beck of The Ringer, the Hall of Famer-turned-TNT basketball analyst Barkley said he and Green should say “I have to stop the bulls***.”

“We’ve all crossed the line many times,” Barkley said. “And you have to say, ‘Dude, you know what? I have to stop this bullshit. Because when is he in the sea? When it hurts the team. That’s what you have to ask yourself.

Peace hopes Green can find balance

World Peace was in reflection as he began to ask questions and “learn more about myself.” He would later add that he hoped that Green finds a balance in his life to be passionate while not harming himself.

“Basketball was basically the center of my life,” Peace said. “But as I became whole, I started to learn more about myself: Why am I so emotional? Because you have this emotion on the field, you then have this philanthropic side off the field. So you have two sides of a player, and I wanted to bring them together. How (do you control) that passion or emotion that you bring to court? Why are you letting this spill over? Why can’t you just play basketball, have a good time, be a good person and just enjoy your life? »

“I had to lower my intensity,” World Peace continued, “Because when I was talking to my therapist, intensity wasn’t a safe space for me. Your body doesn’t understand the difference between an emotion to a high level, if it’s positive, and a low level emotion, if it’s negative. It’s just a strong emotion. And when he retired in 2017, he said: “Actually, I was really relieved, because I had no reason to be upset.”

The return of the greens to the Warriors

It’s been a rollercoaster season for Green as he’s been involved in multiple altercations with suspensions that ultimately led to an indefinite stay. The final straw was when he hit Phoenix Suns big man Jusuf Nurkic, where he would miss the next 12 games as part of the aforementioned indefinite suspension.

However, Green has repeatedly stated that he is feeling better in his return by undergoing therapy. However, the goal is not for the Warriors star to return passive, but as Peace said, that is to find a balance that works for him.

Green tries to help Golden State return to the playoffs as they are 32-28, which places them 10th in the Western Conference. Every game is important for them now as their next game is against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.
