CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – The Charlotte Hornets released their 2024-25 regular season schedule Thursday afternoon.
Charlotte has only one nationally televised game this upcoming season — an away game on Friday, Jan. 17 against the Chicago Bulls at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Charlotte tied for the third-worst record last season, landing the No. 6 pick in the 2024 NBA draft. With that, they selected attacker Tidjane Salaünan 18-year-old Frenchman measuring 2.05 m.
During the reconstruction, Steve Clifford has resigned as head coach at the end of the 2023-24 season. He will work closely with president of basketball operations Jeff Peterson, who is also new to the franchise and replaced Mitch Kupchak earlier this year.
With Clifford’s departure, the Hornets hired Charles Leean assistant to the 2024 NBA champion Boston Celtics.
In the meantime, LaMelo Ball And Miles Bridges Both signed massive contract extensions in the off-season. All this, along with the second overall pick in the 2023 draft, forward Brandon MillerThe Hornets may just have rejuvenated the core they were looking for.
