In our latest NBA Mock Draft, the Chicago Bulls got lucky and jumped into the top 3 and the hype around Reed Sheppard continues to skyrocket.

With the 2024 NCAA Tournament in full swing, the vast majority are taking a closer look at a some of the top prospects in the NBA draft. Over the next few weeks, the hype around this year’s draft class will only increase – even though most consider it a “weak” draft class compared to the year last. Despite this label, there are still plenty of intriguing prospects who could end up playing a significant role in the next era of NBA basketball.

As we continue to explore this year’s course, we’re taking another look at a mock draft. In our latest NBA Mock Draft 9.0, the Chicago Bulls have a lucky bounce and move into the top spot as the hype around Reed Sheppard continues to rise.

Looking at the landscape of this year’s NBA Draft class, it’s almost impossible to predict which prospects will stand out from the rest of the pack. However, if there has been one consistent top-5 prospect for most of the season, it has been Cody Williams. He’s put up consistent numbers this season and proven his worth on both ends of the court.

During his first season at Colorado, Williams averaged 12 points and three rebounds on 55 percent shooting from the field and 41 percent from 3-point range. He’s also shown some playmaking skills, which could be helpful to a team like the Chicago Bulls that is lacking in that area.
