Despite a decade of mediocrity, there are reasons to be cautiously optimistic about a different season for the Bulls. Management recognized the urgency of the situation and made some changes in the offseason that they hope will help turn things around. While those changes won’t propel them to the top of the league standings, they are believed to be able to return to a positive record like last year, even if they narrowly missed it.

Chicago fans are desperate to relive the playoff experience, and this time around, it seems like they are in a good position to do so. As a result, fans may find themselves struggling to make the playoffs once again, but predicting Chicago to make the playoffs should make more sense than it did in the previous two seasons. However, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up for another first-round exit, because after many other playoff disappointments, another first-round exit seems very likely.

This is a make-or-break year for Chicago, with an unforgiving schedule and an impatient fan base. The question remains whether the roster moves made this offseason will be enough to meet those high standards. But one thing is for sure: Bulls fans are eager to watch this season up close in anticipation of a season that will end this long period of agony.
