The Chicago Bulls are playing exceptional basketball, winning three in a row and four of their last five games. The LA Clippers haven’t been as threatening recently, going just 5-5 in their last ten games. They have won only two of their last five home games.

Additionally, the Bulls are as good as the Clippers when it comes to defensive play. The Bulls concede 115 points per 100 possessions compared to 114.5 points per 100 possessions by the Clippers. Offensively, the Clippers haven’t been in their best form, averaging just 113.8 points in their last five games.

Prediction: Chicago Bulls +9.5

I expect this one to be outdated. Chicago is on a roll offensively, averaging 117 points in its last five games, five points higher than its season average. They have given up an average of 116 points in their last five home games.

Additionally, Chicago struggles to defend the three, ranking 16th in three-point defense. This is key because Los Angeles is one of the best from three-point range, shooting 38.9 percent from deep, good for second in the NBA. Additionally, while Chicago is scoring more points recently, they are giving up more, wasting 117 and 122 points in their last two games. The score is 10-5 in the Bulls’ last 15 games.
