Chris Bosh traveled to Serbia to show his love to his former teammate Goran Dragic by participating in the charity game “Night of the Dragon” as a farewell to the latter. During his appearance at the event, Bosh revealed some of the offers he received from the Euroleague in the last years of his professional career. Wanting to fulfill his role as a family man became his priority, and he had to turn them down.

Measuring 6 feet 11 inches, Displays was a capable defender and could also impact the game with his shooting and rebounding, among other skills. Any basketball team would benefit from adding the big man, despite his age, and as Bosh revealed, some teams in Europe have tried to do just that.

Several Spanish and French teams tried to lure the left-hander. But these offers were politely declined, his family remaining the priority.

“I did get offers for Euro, but you know, it was time. You know, I wasn’t in a position where I wanted to leave and move with my family. I didn’t have much, they were babies at the time, so you know, I just took that as a sign and kept moving forward.

But I had some offers… Spain, France. Yes, in the Euroleague,” Bosh disclosed.

Chris Bosh played his last game at the age of 31 and retired shortly after. Bosh was still in the prime of his career, averaging 20 points and 7.2 rebounds since LeBron James left the Miami Heat. However, with the discovery of blood clots in his lungs, it was time for the 11-time All-Star to hang up his cleats.

Fans were extremely excited to see Chris Bosh step on the court after eight long years, proving to everyone that his shot was still intact. The Hall of Famer even shed some light on his relationship with Goran Dragic.

“He’s a fantastic player and a fantastic person. More importantly, he’s brought a lot of toughness and spirit to the locker room. And I mean, Gogi is one of those guys you can count on all the time to be consistent, play hard and play together.

And you know, him being a point guard, me being a big guy, it was just natural. And we didn’t play together a lot, but I enjoyed every minute I was on the field with him,” Bosh said about Dragic.

Dragic and Bosh only shared a locker room for 44 games. But in those two years, their duo proved to be extremely lethal. Pundits often claim that the two, along with the solid supporting cast of Luol Deng, Dwyane Wade and Hasan Whiteside, would have been capable of winning a title had Bosh not retired from the league early.
