CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Hornets have been given the green light to build a new practice facility on Fifth Street between Caldwell and Davidson streets in Uptown Charlotte.
The team needed the city council to approve small zoning changes, such as allowing large signs along the building.
The city is contributing $30 million to the project.
