It’s no secret that Milwaukee Bucks teammates Damian Lillard and Patrick Beverley don’t exactly have the greatest story. These two had real beef between them before finding themselves on the same team in Milwaukee.
Dame and Pat Bev have both put their past behind them as they now have a unique championship goal with the Bucks. So much so that Lillard recently praised his ex-enemy turned teammate.

The Bucks brought in Beverley for several reasons. One of them is due to the courage and intensity he brings to the game. According to Lillard, these are some of Pat Bev’s most valuable assets, ones that make him an undeniably essential part of the game. ‘team :
“Pat is someone who knows who he is,” Lillard said. “He knows what he brings to the table. …Its advantage. He’s an instigator. He speaks. He believes in what he brings to a team. This belief is more than half the battle.
“He’s disruptive. He irritates the guys. …He’s still engaged. He’s still on edge. He always talks. … He’s going to bring something to the game, you just don’t know what it’s going to be on any given night.

Lady hit the nail on the head here. This is perhaps the perfect manifestation of loving a guy like Beverley when he’s on your team, but totally hating him if he’s in the opposition. Lillard probably wouldn’t have as much praise for Beverley if they weren’t on the same team.
Regardless, Lillard and Beverley are now Bucks players. They now share the same rear area and you can be sure that Pat Bev will support Dame when push comes to shove – and vice versa.
