We all witnessed another iteration of Dame Time for the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night as Damian Lillard and his clutch heroism led his team to a revelation Comeback victory 113-106 against a powerful Los Angeles Clippers team.
Dame finished with 41 points overall pure class showcase. However, even Lillard himself would be the first to admit that he couldn’t have achieved this without the help of his teammates.

Bobby Portis also had a massive performance for the Bucks with a double-double of 28 points and 16 rebounds. Guys like Malik Beasley and AJ Green didn’t have stunning outings against the Clippers, but both also played important roles in critical moments for Milwaukee.
“Finally, when you continue to trust him, it’s going to change,” Lillard said, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic. “We made some shots. Bobby played a great match. But I would say I continued to trust him.
“And in the end, AJ hit a big one. (Malik Beasley) hit a big one. Bobby hit a big one. We just started asking guys to make those big shots and those big plays because, as the game went on, they had those opportunities instead of me saying, “I’m not going to throw that anymore.” I just kept throwing it until the end. It paid off. »
The Bucks may need to make another concerted effort Wednesday night when they kick off their four-game Western Conference road trip with a matchup against the Golden State Warriors. Khris Middleton has already been ruled out, while Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable to play, leaving the Bucks once again undermanned.
Nonetheless, they are in good hands with Lillard at the helm.
