Memphis rebounded in the second quarter to take a four-point halftime lead.

The Grizzlies bench scored 19 of the team’s 31 points in the quarter.

The Blazers shot 47.4% in the second quarter but committed 11 turnovers and now have 12 for the game. Memphis committed 13 in the first half.

Anfernee Simons leads the Blazers with 10 points. Duop Reath has eight.

First quarter: Blazers 25, Grizzlies 20.

The Blazers shot just 37.5% in the first quarter and led most of the way thanks to six second-chance points and six turnovers committed by Memphis that led to six points for the Blazers.

Anfernee Simons and Jerami Grant each scored five points in the quarter.

THE Portland Trail Blazers will be centerless again Deandre Ayton when they play Saturday night at the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Blazers won 122-92 at Memphis Friday night without Ayton, who sprained his right hand in Tuesday’s loss to the Miami Heat.

Duop Reath, who had 18 points against the Grizzlies, will start again at center.
