On January 12, DeMar DeRozan and the Sacramento Kings DeRozan will come to Chicago to face the Bulls. It will be a bittersweet matchup for the Bulls and DeRozan. DeRozan was traded to the Kings this offseason after spending each of the last three seasons with the Bulls. He was a tremendous player in Chicago, and he was also a fan favorite.

DeMar DeRozan just turned 35 on August 7, so he shouldn’t look like he’s in the best shape yet, but that was the case when he played for the Bulls. He averaged 27.9 points per game, 24.5 points per game and 24.0 points per game in three years in Chicago.

Not only has DeRozan scored a lot of points for the Bulls, he’s done so in the most critical moments of the game. DeRozan narrowly missed out on winning NBA Player of the Year last year, narrowly beaten by Stephen Curry, but he’s had some incredibly pivotal moments throughout the year and has helped the Bulls win a good portion of their games.

Bulls fans love DeMar DeRozan, and it will be cool to see him return to the United Center on January 12.
