Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic led Serbia to the bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Jokic made history during that run, becoming the first player to lead the Olympics in total points, rebounds, assists and steals.
Just minutes before the USA won the semifinals, Serbia was on the verge of winning the gold medal against France, but couldn’t finish the game. Instead of lining up against Germany for the bronze medal, Serbia put on an impressive performance and still left Paris with a medal.

Although he was undoubtedly the best player on his team, Jokic was not left without help at the Olympics. Several Serbian players showed great skill and Jokic reportedly gave them a very expensive gift.
In a report of Blic (Thanks to Eurohoops), it was revealed that Jokic bought his 11 Olympic teammates $32,500 worth of Rolex watches, bringing the total cost to $357,500.

It’s a nice gesture from Jokic, who is entering the second year of a five-year, $276 million contract with the Nuggets (by Spotrac).
While some of Jokic’s Olympic teammates are in the NBA, most are not. By gifting each player a $32,500 Rolex watch, Jokic thanked them for their contribution to Serbia’s bronze medal.
